List of the ISO-codes according with norm 3166-1

Each country, or geographical entity, or province, or department, etc., thas hree codes granted known as the standard ISO 3166 that by the international organisation for the standardisation is stipulated (international organisation for Standardization = ISO).

These 3 codes are:

• ISO 3166-1 alpha-2: code of two characters by geographical entity mainly uses fields for the national Internet
• ISO 3166-1 alpha-3: code of three characters which frequently offer a better connection between the code and the name of the country then the code to two characters
• ISO 3166-1 numerically: code of three figures, which is used for example by the department statistically of the United Nations and that the advantage offers irrespective of the type of a scriptural nature be able be used (Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, etc.)

• the classification following the ISO standard 3166-1 alpha-2
